Dialogue:
Danielle: When did you become commanding officer of the German Air Force? Herman: When Von Richthofen died I took his place. Danielle: Did you ever regret what decisions you made? Why or why not? Herman: No, I did what I did because I chose to. Danielle: Why do you think it is wrong for you to be hanged? Herman: A man of my power should not be hanged but I would be happy if they shot me. Danielle: Do you feel you made Hitler happy by the decisions you made? Herman: Yes, I do. Danielle: were you ever addicted to any drugs? Herman: I was addicted to morphine after I got shot and I was also addicted to paracodine. Danielle: How do you feel about Hess? Herman: I think he is a psychotic idiot. Danielle: What did you do in prison? Herman: I sat around most times and smoked my pipe while thinking what I would do. Danielle: What were all of your jobs? Herman: I have a ton of jobs but just to name a few they are as follows: prime minister of Prussia, Head of Luftwaffe, and Hitler’s Deputy. ( Note: he had all of these jobs at the same time.) Danielle: What was your life like with all of these jobs? Hermann: It was wonderful. I wore expensive jewelry, I got a uniform specifically designed for me and I had a villa built named after my dead wife in which I placed extravagant artwork. Danielle: Where did you live? Hermann: I lived in a palace in Berlin. Danielle: Do you have a nickname? Hermann: Yes, in fact I do. It is “Fat Hermann”.
